A man selling controversial t-shirts that refer to Senator Barack Obama as a slave was attacked in his New York City boutique. The man, known as "Apollo Braun," claims that two African-American men entered his store Wednesday afternoon and shouted "Who do you call a slave, you f***ing Jew?!" before assaulting him. Last month Braun - real name Doron Braunshtein - made news when a woman threatened to sue him after she was assaulted while wearing one his shirts that bore the words "Obama is my slave." At the time, Braun defended the shirts, saying that they reflect the views of "ordinary WASPs [white anglo-saxon protestants]." According to an account from his publicist, the two men worked together - one grabbed Braun's hands while the other kicked him in the testicles. Now, after experiencing the physical fallout for himself, the shirt peddler is reconsidering his merchandise. "I don't want to be killed for my t-shirts. I am still shocked about what happened today but there is a big chance that I will stop selling my anti-Obama merchandise after what happened today. I mean, tomorrow someone can show up at my store with a gun, and I don't want that to happen." After the incident, Braun was found on the floor of his store by a passerby. He then called the police and filed a report. It was the third time police had come to the store since the owner appeared on the cover of New York newspaper Metro wearing the Obama slave shirt. Since then, Braun has been flooded with phone calls and emails protesting his wears - some threatening death, according to his publicist. Though he's considering halting the sale of the inflammatory shirts, Braun calls the tees "art" and defends his right to make them. "This is very disturbing to me that I am living in New York City and that I own a boutique for more than five and a half years [in] neighborhoods which are suppose to be the most open-minded and tolerant to any kind of art, but instead, people don't understand me, hate me and don't let me express myself the way everyone should be able to in New York." Braun maintains that his distaste for the presumptive Democratic nominee for President of the United States has nothing to do with the candidate's race. Instead he dislikes Obama because he believes he is a Muslim. The shirts causing all the trouble sell for $69 and include several other slogans such as “Jews Against Obama,” “Obama = Hitler” and “Who Killed Obama?”

He's becoming more and more brilliant. Can someone say RATINGS. This man TOTALLY thinks outside the box and this is what makes him rise to the top (and on the opposite end keeps many of us at the bottom) First the transgendered woman on I want to work for Diddy now the transmental patient is rehired as the choreographer is back. Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has re-hired Laurie Ann Gibson - the choreographer who accused him of threatening to assault her with a chair just before she was fired. The falling out was caught on tape, during a first-season episode of MTV's "Making the Band" realty television program. Gibson later filed a police complaint against Combs, alleging he lifted a chair and threatened her with it. The two seemed to have resolved the dispute and the choreographer will work with the rapper again on the latest season of the show. "We had this relationship before MTV, so there was a place of, ‘Can we put this behind us? I believe in who you are. Do you still believe in who I am? We have something bigger than the show,’" Gibson said. "Business-wise, it was definitely in my best interest to take the challenge to move forward and put it behind me." The reunion between the dancer and Diddy will be featured during the season premiere of the "Making The Band" - which airs August 19. Gibson adds, "I said, `No chairs and no entourage!’ There were no chairs, except the ones we were sitting on, and there was no entourage."

... Here's a quote from a story written in 2003 about Bernie.. in it he mentions the riff between he and Steve Harvey...[source]".... And work out they did. Having performed standup at grungy comedy clubs for decades, Mac got his first big break when he became somewhat of a regular on HBO'S Def Comedy Jam in the '80s. That led to small roles in numerous small-budget movies like Friday, House Party 3, Players Club and Booty Call, as well as a co-starring role in The Kings of Comedy, which grossed nearly $40 million. But perhaps his biggest break came when he was offered the part as a blackjack-dealing ex-con in the movie Ocean's Eleven. With a cast that included Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Mac, by far the novice of the group, became a household name to a whole new set of people. The movie was a huge success, but caused a riff in his relationship with his Kings of Comedy co-star Steve Harvey. As the story goes, someone representing Harvey called Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh to push for Harvey to get the part over Mac. "The Hollywood game that we are in, it's a cold game," he says of the person who tried to convince Soderbergh that Harvey was more popular and a better actor. "And the sad thing about it is all of us are doing well, so I don't really see the problem. It didn't bother me because I see the big picture. When they told me about it, what could I do? I'm not going to sling mud. I'm not a rapper. I tell jokes. I try to make people laugh. I'm not going to sling mud. Steve and anybody else can say whatever they want to say. Ain't nobody got no control over me. I have the control."

50 Cent's G-Unit sidekick Tony Yayo is begging his mother to move out of her neighborhood after unknown assailants riddled her home with bullets. The rapper insists the home was just a random targetand his mother doesn't have a price on herhead - but he's desperate to find her a safer place to live.

The only problem is his proud Haitian mom wants to stay where she is in Queens, New York. Yayo says, "She don't want to move. I begged her plenty of times... (but) my mom's values are different. She feels like she prays and she's got God on her side. "I'm trying to explain to her, `Mom, I'd rather somebody come and shoot at me than shoot at the house for no reason.'"

According to reports Yayo's mother lives just a block away from where 50 Cent was shot nine times in an attack on his life, before he was famous. "She's still staying in the same area. She should have listened and moved," the music mogul said.

Greetings folks. This is my new blog dedicated to urban promotion. I am actually working on several projects right now outside of RF but let me stress that I don't work on products that I don't believe in. The new project that I am working on is Eric Benet. The single "You're the Only One" is probably the best single Eric has put out during his career. His full CD comes out Sept 9. Take a second to (click me) to find out more of what Eric Benet is up to. I think you might be impressed.. I'd like to know what you think

Rapper Yung Berg has been arrested on a series of drug and weapons charges. Born Christian Ward, Berg has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing following a police investigation on Saturday.

According to reports, the rapper - who is signed to trouble rapper DMX's label Bloodline - got into a dispute with a limo driver in New York at the weekend, prompting a call to authorities. A source tells website TMZ.com the driver reported a dispute with five passengers and when police investigated the complaints, they charged Berg. The rapper's music boxx, DMX pleaded not guilty to felony charges of theft and identity theft last month - the latest in a string of legal troubles for the star, which includes arrests for speeding, suspected drug possession and animal cruelty this year alone.
